The passive Surface Water Intake Screen System design utilizes low velocity flow through the wedge wire screen surface of SS 316L or HDPE is used to manufacture the screens, which minimizes impingement and the danger to fish and other aquatic life. The all-welded screen construction provides high strength and durability. Typically, intake screens are designed to withstand a differential pressure of 10 feet of water across the screen.
